The Rising Star Award is intended for a member that demonstrates leadership qualities and has a desire to become more involved in the REALTOR® Association.

The recipient of the award will receive a $1,000.00 Scholarship reimbursement to attend a state or national REALTOR Conference. The recipient will need to provide receipts for travel, lodging and meals for reimbursement up to $1,000.00. LBAR will pay for the basic registration fee for the conference.

The recipient of the award shall be required to attend a Board of Directors meeting to present a report on their leadership growth experience.
1. Applicant must be currently active in the real estate profession and a member in good standing with the Loveland- Berthoud Association of REALTORS®.
2. Applicant must have been licensed for 3-7 years.
3. To be considered applicants must have sold a minimum of an average of 10 homes per year during their time in the business.
4. Nominations can be submitted by any active REALTOR® Association member or an individual on his/her own behalf.
5. The selection of “Rising Star Award” shall be determined by giving special emphasis to each of the following categories:
  - Education
  - Association Involvement – must have attended at least six monthly membership meetings
  - Community Involvement
